Dakkada FC central defender Harrison Ibukun says he is confident that his team is ready to face Delta Force FC today in their league opener today.
Harrison, played a key role for Akwa starlets FC, now Dakkada FC and they won the National League and gained promotion to the NPFL.
In a chat with www.akwaibomdaily.com.ng, shared his expectations towards their opener against Delta Force FC who will host them at Stephen Keshi stadium, Asaba, saying “we are 100 percent prepared for the match against Delta Force FC, though it won’t be easy, we are going to give our all for it.”
When asked how far the team can go in the NPFL he said “In Dakkada FC we have young players and experience players too, with that we can remain in the NPFL”
Both teams will want to start life in the top flight on a winning note, a win in the match will give either team a good spirit to go into the next game.
Elsewhere, Warri Wolves are back in the top flight since 2016 and will welcome a flamboyant Akwa United FC who said they are aiming for the NPFL title.
