When it was told that the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Akwa Ibom State, Obong Nsima Ekere who’s also the sacked MD of NDDC has lost the March 9th governorship election in the State, it was as if some people were dreaming.
Accordingly as it is scripted in the Holy book; “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap”- Galatians 6: 7.
Above succinctly illustrates the beginning of the failure of my big brother, Obong Nsima Ekere. It was too late for him to have escaped from his punishment because all his sins were already piled up for him awaiting divine sanction.
Nsima Ekere knows and understands the negative effects of all the mischievous acts he used his mouth to confess in a video he made few days before the Governorship election. I was shocked and I felt great pity for him having weighged the biblical and natural law principles which the video connotes. To his blind followers, it was a new branding strategy to upgrade Nsima’s personea whereas, it was a clear sign of madness. As an advocate of peaceful coexistence, I’m calling on the wife and his people to chain Nsima down for proper medical intervention before he finds his way into market.
One thing is certain, Akwa Ibom people during the Gubernatorial election stood firm to vote their conscience, saying no to a mischievous man with mischievous trademarks and plans for the State.
There is a saying that he who is deligent in little shall be deligent in plenty; how does this statement portray Obong Nsima Ekere of the APC? Nsima was opportuned to be the Managing Director of AKIIPOC, MD of Ibom Power Company, Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State and lastly, MD of NDDC but in all, he was ousted just the same way Archangel Michael and his host of angels ousted Angel Lucifer from Heaven as captured in Revelation 12:7-12.
It’s on record that during the few days he spent as Ag. governor of the State, a full month allocation had developed wing and flew away and till date, no one can really tell what happened with the money. Former First Lady, Mrs. Unoma Akpabio had said publicly during the 2015 campaigns that “Mr. Ekere was sacked because he absconded with the State’s one month allocation”. Throughout his years as NDDC MD, can he point at a single project he initiated in his Village talkmore of the State in its entirety? Someone who’s not deligent in little can never be deligent in plenty. This was why the people of the State gave up on Nsima Ekere.
Nsima Ekere even before the elections had seen himself as the governor of Akwa Ibom State. His entourage was more than that of the governor, his power bikers had increased to six. They acquired a campaign office for the APC at the same Barracks road where the Government’s house is situated. On daily basis, they’ll gather there, sing and shout the governor’s name without any ounce of respect. This were drawn out plans to belittle, riddiculed and possibly make governance extremely difficult for the governor.
No wonder God said “For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted”- Matthew 23: 12. God used the votes of all Akwa Ibom people to reduce Nsima Ekere to the grass because he had raised himself above the same Government constituted by God Himself. “God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things-and the things that are not-to nullify the things that are”- 1 Corinthians 1 : 28.
During the build up to the general elections, Nsima Ekere used the Federal Might to force Akpabio into joining his party, APC. He thought Akpabio joining his party was the only way for him and APC to emerge victorious during the election. He never knew they were thinking like men and not God. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”- Jeremiah 29: 11. Nsima and his cohort’s plans was to harm Akwa Ibom people but the #OnlyGod plans stood out as the supreme.
Upon Akpabio’s defection to the APC, they collaborated with the Federal Government and the Police to unlawfully intimidate, harrass and arrest chieftains and loyal members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the State. In this context, media practitioners were not spared: they were arrested and locked up like people that had no origin.” “He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker”- Proverbs 14:31. And in Proverbs 22:22-23, God said “Do not rob the poor because he is poor, nor oppress the afflicted at the gate; For the Lord will plead their cause, and plunder the soul of those who plunder them.” This Bible portions contributed greatly to why Nsima with the aide of Senator Akpabio and federal might lost his Gubernatorial election.
Due to Nsima’s ego and desperation, he was ready to do anything in-order to find his way to the Hilltop Mansion. Even upon his alleged introduction by Akpabio to the Indian witches and Native Doctors whereas, God had commanded in Deutronomy 5:6 that we should not have any other god than Him. The time, resources and energy Nsima would have channeled to reach out to the grassroots through campaigns, he was busy wasting those valuable resources consulting with the Indian witches which they deceived him by instructing to be holding a night campaign at 4Lanes. This he did till the punishment of God came heavily upon him which he failed woefully in the election.Akpabio’s defection to the APC was Divine arrangement for Nsima Ekere to lose the election.
While others were preparing for the elections, Obong Nsima was busy contracting Militants to reck havoc on innocent electorates during the elections. He was out to kill everyone in the State so far he emerges the winner of the Gubernatorial election. But this isn’t supposed to be so. God in Exodus 20: 13 had commanded us not to kill.
In as much as 2019 Gubernatorial election in Akwa Ibom State was concerned, everything was wrong with the APC structures (if any) and its Candidate, Obong Nsima Ekere. He had gone against all the commandments of God and man and for derailing, his failure was inevitable inline with biblical injunctions.
” Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
” The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him” – Ezekiel 18: 20.
I want to enjoin Obong Nsima Ekere to run back to God in prayers and fastings for the forgiveness of his sins. His impending tsunami maybe worst than the election he lost. No amount of money or Federal Might will be able to several him from the wrath of the Supreme and Supernatural might.
